Eat there every Sunday...food is good and service is as well. Good price and portion size.

Sunday buffet is terrific.

I ordered prime rib, it was served piping hot with a baked potato. But I'll have to say the service was terrible, it was a Saturday night, and there were probably 60 patrons in the restaurant, and they only had two waitresses, and those poor gal's could not keep up. One of the waitresses was well seasoned, and the other waitress was new and she didn't have a clue what she was doing. The manager was not to be seen, he or she should have been out on the floor assisting.

My wife and I were wanting some Good Home Cooked Breakfast. I googled Best Breakfast around Logansport. We've passed this place 200 times and today we decided to go. Food was Great,Nice Big Portions and was ready within minutes. Service was good also. Definitely would recommend. Thanks.

The seafood platter was outstanding. The smelt fry is so good. They had oysters on the half shell which I also ordered. Every time I go to Logansport, it is required to eat at Silver Lake Inn.

The smelt and white fish special was really good! The wait staff was very nice and great at their job. I've been here several times and have never been disappointed.

The food is good! They have a variety of breakfast, lunch, and dinner options with specials daily. They do a buffet from 7a - 2p. It starts as a breakfast buffet and transitions to lunch. They always have a salad bar. When I was there, they had salad mix, 6 kinds of dressings, cheese, olives, bacon bits, cole slaw, applesauce, potato salad, and pasta salad. On the menu, the breakfast options are fairly wrican traditional (eggs, pancakes, french toast, etc). Otherwise, they also serve chicken, steak, pasta, and stir fry. If you're vegan like me, you're safe to get the vegetable stir fry with steamed rice. It is decent. Nothing fancy, but it is a decent meal. The prices are more than reasonable. The service is quick, attentive, and responsive.

I like the food here. Fast, friendly service. Food choices (smelt) not available in other places.

The food is always good. The only problem we had was they had almost all tables reserved for people that were regulars. We got there at 5:30 and we're told that the tables weren't available. But the earliest person wasn't going to be there until 7:00. There were many people who were turned away. I think that they lost a lot of customers by not welcoming diners.

I go here got some great steaks. Salad bar is a bit lacking but the homemade croutons are the bomb.

Had one of daily specials - taco salad. Very good 👌. Waitress helpful & pleasant. Reasonable prices.

My buddy at work got a new job and we had his going away party here - around 25 people. Plenty of room, clean. The waitress could not fit us all in the bar area downstairs, so she had to seat us upstairs and that lady ran up and down the stairs to get us our drinks. She got our drink and food orders correct. The only wait time we had was for the food to be prepared. The food was excellent. I had a Farmer's Omelette. It was very good. THANK YOU SILVER LAKE for making our last moments together as a work family an amazing time. ❤

I’m from out of town ( Cincinnati) I had breakfast and the food was delicious!! Fast friendly service large portions, I’m up this way occasionally for work and my first ( but not last ) time eating here. I will definitely come back

Had a waffle and it was wonderful just the way I liked it.

Order the spicy chicken ranch quesadilla!! And my boyfriend says the white fish is amazing. Ask for Rin!

Great service. Got the catfish (2fish) and lobster/steak. Lobster tail was great, but the rest of the food was very bland. Great service though.

This place has the best food and a diverse menu. There is always a special and for a fair price. The owner is the cook and he loves his job! Fried fish, fresh cut steaks and prime rib. This is Logansport's steakhouse.

Good place for burgers and such. Breaded tenderloin is excellent. Ambiance is dated and old, but food is decent. First time I ate here was at least 45 years ago.

I would put their seafood better than red lobster for half the price

Staff is amazing. They know our drink orders and how my dad likes his salads without asking. There are two areas of this restaurant= the dining room upstairs and the bar area downstairs. The bar area has regular table seating and service in addition to bar seating with a full bar. Relaxed, casual atmosphere with mostly local patrons who often visit on a regular basis. Kristin is a fabulous bartender, as well as waitress, and makes amazing cocktails and mixed drinks. They serve breakfast all day and have different dinner specials each night with a separate, special Friday and Saturday night menu. Their drink specials are great and different every night also. Their drink special recently was 3.50$ for a Blue Lagoon mixed drink= not that special in and of itself except that it's served in a gigantic beer mug! At least 16 ounces of blue goodness= aye yiyi!

Nice family style restaurant. The salad bar was fresh and really tasty. We dinned upstairs and both of our meals were delicious. We had to ask for to go containers because the portions were very generous. Service was attentive and friendly. We are planning on trying out their lounge on our next visit.
